Indoor Environment Quality (IEQ) Template
in progress
Paul King
Create a template for carrying out Indoor Environment Quality (IEQ) tests on a work environment. The report will include sections for:
- Thermal Comfort (Temperature, Relative Humidity)
- Indoor Gases (CO, CO2, TVOC, HCOH, Ozone, NO2)
- Airborne Particulates (PM2.5, PM10)
- Microbiological (Bacterial, Fungal)
- Environmental Comfort (Light, Noise)
Please note: This template covers all Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) checks, plus additional checks for light and noise. So, we've called it an IEQ template rather than an IAQ template (although it is suitable for both)

We're making the final touches to our Indoor Environment Quality Template, which incorporates BS 40102 guidelines. I'm proud of the work that has been done on this template and I don't see anything like this on the market.
This will include some exciting new features (not before seen on any template) - including calculated fields on the dashboard, filterable inspection lists, and more.
The template will offer a high degree of flexibility in how you do IEQ surveys. You can choose which tests to include (by way of a scope section) and any test types not included will be omitted from the report, leaving no "empty" looking parts.
You can specify targets for 'Temperature' and 'Light' on a location basis, which will affect the calculated levels for that area.
As with any Flow reports, we've tried to make this template as simple as possible to use. We are excited to get it into the hands of our HVAC-industry clients who are offering this service. Thanks to everyone who has provided guidance on this, you know who you are!
More updates to follow. If anyone is keen for access when the template is released in the next couple of weeks, please let Andrew Houghton know (andrew@flowmobile.app)

This is a great article, popping it on here for later reference:

Awesome! Happy to help!

Ian Gregory: I'll be finishing this template off soon using our new template editor. Would you like to trial it for me?
Ian Gregory
Paul King: yes please! There is also the new British standard to take into consideration BS40102
Ian Gregory
Can you include TVOC also please!
Paul King
Ian Gregory: I'll likely need some input from you on that one Ian. The template I'm currently building is for a client. But once I'm finished, I'll be creating a generic version of it, too for Flow's library using everything I've learned. So I'm happy to get input from you at that point :)
It's shaping up to be one of the slickest templates I've built, and it uses Flow's newest features like Presets and Quickfills. I reckon I'm also shaping up to be an IAQ expert now too after reading various templates and specs, ha!
