Please note: Any users currently using 'WeChat Camera' in the mobile app settings should change the selected camera back to 'Image Picker (default camera)' when upgrading to v1.96.4, since WeChat Camera is no longer supported in this version.
We’ve released a new version of the mobile app (v1.96.4), which includes improvements to media upload speed and automatically refreshes stalled uploads when media uploads are re-enabled. We recommend upgrading to this latest version as soon as possible.
Fix for image delays
If you're one of the users who experienced image upload issues in the last version of the app (v1.95), you'll be happy to know that this new version (v1.96.4) should fix those issues. It also offers some other quality-of-life improvements (see below)
New "status" indicator for image uploads
When viewing images on the mobile app, you'll now see an icon in the bottom left corner.
This indicator shows the current "status" of the upload (queued, checking, uploading, validating…). So you'll have a better idea whether uploads are still processing (e.g. if you're in a low-signal area). It's also a helpful cue for our support team if you encounter any issues.

Toggling "Media Uploads" refreshes stalled uploads
Pausing and resuming media uploads is a helpful way to save data on your mobile app if you have a limited data plan. For example, you can turn media uploads off while on-site, then turn them back on when you're connected to WiFi.
In v1.96.4, toggling media uploads works in the same way as before, but also automatically refreshes any stalled uploads.
Please contact support@flowmobile.app if you experience any problems with this mobile app version.
