Customisable fields for jobs

Ability to add custom fields to jobs. This would let us store additional information unique to our company, such as a "Work Referral Number".

Custom field data should also be searchable using the jobs search input, and be able to be displayed on the job list.

Another use case for this is to show expiry dates on the jobs list, which would be helpful for jobs such as Kitchen Extract Cleaning jobs where the certificate expires after 12-months.

Hi Paul, this would be extremely useful to us as a business as it would allow us to input both the type of property and the type of survey as currently this is not captured anywhere in the system i.e. 'Commercial' 'Management'. this would also satisfy UKAS needs when separating the surveys for calculation of the re-surveys as this is currently a manual process of going into jobs that are not known to be either a commercial, industrial or domestic client (some have all three)

That seems like a good use case, thanks Scott. Especially given your UKAS requirements example. I think there's a strong case for being able to:

Add existing job fields such as UPRN to the jobs list.
Add customised fields like the ones you've mentioned here.
