We've released a new feature called 'Section Views' which elegantly solves this.

Section Views are named views which can be added to any section with multiple items, that filter the inspection items in a pre-defined way (results can also be Sorted and Grouped)

An example could be a filtered view showing only 'No Access' areas or risk items without a recommendation.
