Multi-select Dropdown/Combobox Input
Mark Malone
Selecting multiple options in Dropdown / Combobox lists would allow for greater flexibility when recording data.
Example:
A template has a Combobox for recording inspected materials used in a building. With the current functionality, I can only select
one
option from the Dropdown. However, an inspected item could be made up of multiple materials. e.g. It would be helpful to select both "Stone" and "Render" when recording materials used for walls.
- Using the Combobox Input: I'd have to type this manually, e.g. "Stone and Render".
- Using the Dropdown Input: None of the available selections would be appropriate.
Let me select multiple items from the Dropdown/Combobox options to make these inputs more flexible.

Yes please, I would like to choose two different test methods on the vha template as we always do more than one test from most doors, a DTT and a microbial

Ian Gregory: Cheers Ian, a good use case of this input type (although more complex since you have conditional logic linked to the test method). But still, same input type would be needed
